• The Park County Branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its monthly meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at WarmStone Fireplaces and Designs, located at 116 N. B Street. The guest speaker will be Heidi Barrett, executive director of ASPEN, speaking about “Breaking the Cycle of Violence: How ASPEN’s Programs Work Toward Reducing Violence in Families and Communities.” AAUW welcomes current members and any other interested parties to attend. For additional information, contact AAUW President Lisa Harreld at (651) 270-4168.

• Park County Friends of the Arts will host “Artful Bites: Clash of the Chefs” starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts. Locals will have the opportunity to try five small plates, utilizing three special ingredients. Tickets are $45, which includes one drink. Tickets are available by calling 222-5996, at the Danforth Building or at b.Hive Artisan Coop.

• The Livingston-Park County Public Library will host an Afterhours Teen Game Night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18.  Participants should meet at the Third Street entrance of the library to gain admittance, since the rest of the library will be closed.
