• The Beaver Creek Community Hall will host its annual Christmas potluck at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11  at the Beaver Creek Community Hall, 651 Swingley Road. Turkey with trimmings, coffee and tea will be provided. There will be a small gift exchange for those who want to participate. For more information, contact Mary Rahn 222-2414.

• Yellowstone Ballet Company will host its 26th annual rendition of “The Nutcracker” Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11 at Sleeping Giant Middle School. Doors open at 3 p.m., and the performance starts at 3:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at Conley’s Books & Music or at www.yellowstoneballet.org. Prices are $15 for adults, $10 for children, with $2 extra at the door. For more information, call 222-0430.

• Livingston Community Choir and St. Andrew’s Children Choir invites the community to watch the free Community Christmas Concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at Holbrook  United Methodist Church. The Livingston Community Choir is under the direction of Mark Mills and is accompanied by Sandy Thomas.  St. Andrew’s Children Choir is under the direction of Mary Loewen Cavalier and Rose Brown.  After the concert, there will be a cookie reception and a Country Corner of handmade gifts sale by the Women of Holbrook. 

• Boy Scout Christmas trees are on sale until Dec. 18 at the Park County Fairgrounds from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays; 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Proceeds will go to sending scouts to summer camp.

• A City Commission listening session will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Livingston Food Resource Center located at the corner of Second and Lewis streets. Residents may discuss any subject of interest on city matters. Commissioners James Bennett and Mel Friedman will be present.

• St. Mary’s Catholic School will host its annual Children’s Christmas Store from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the St. Mary’s Catholic School gymnasium. That evening, Knights of Columbus will also host a Bingo Night in the school gymnasium, starting at 6:30 pm. A donation of $5 per card is requested for Bingo Night.
