• University of Montana economist Larry Swanson will make a presentation in Livingston from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6 in the Community Room of the City-County Complex. He will discuss his findings in a recent study on Park County’s economy and the potential harm industrial mining poses to the economy. Swanson’s presentation is hosted by the Yellowstone Gateway Business Coalition, a group formed to oppose mining proposals submitted in the Emigrant and Crevice Mountain areas of Park County.  • A Diabetes Fun and Interactive Wellness Learning course will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Nov.  30, Dec. 7 and 14 at the Park County Senior Center. The free classes help people manage their diabetes and receive support. For more information on the course, call the Senior Center at 333-2276.
