The 36th annual Elks Christmas Auction is set for Friday, Dec. 6 at the Elks Lodge. Chili will be served and a silent auction will be held starting at 5 p.m., followed by the live auction at 7:30 p.m.

 

The Livingston Community Choir has two upcoming free Christmas concerts. Catch the first concert on Friday, Dec. 6, during the annual Christmas Stroll, at Windy City Auction Gallery, 217 W. Park St. The next concert will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8 at Holbrook United Methodist Church, 424 W. Lewis St. A free reception and will offering to follow.

 

The Sacajawea Audubon Society will present a holiday program featuring National Geographic photographer Ronan Donovan at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 at the Ellen Theater, 17 W. Main St., Bozeman. Donovan will present his vastly different experiences with wolves in Yellowstone and the Canadian High Arctic. The event is free and open to the public, but a $5 donation is greatly appreciated, with a Q&A session to follow.

 

ASPEN (Abuse Support and Prevention Education Network) will be selling live plants at the Park County Fairgrounds and the Livingston Civic Center on Saturday, Dec. 7. A “Poinsettias for Peace” purchase will benefit survivors of domestic abuse. Red and white poinsettias are available in three sizes; 4-, 6- or 8-inch pots. • American Legion Post 23 will be holding a dinner in remembrance of Pearl Harbor at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. The dinner will include chicken, potatoes and dessert. A presentation will follow as well as a free will offering. The community is invited in support of the veterans.
