Meals on Wheels will sponsor an End of Summer Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Park County Senior Center at 206 S. Main St. in Livingston. The public is welcome. All breakfasts are $5, with children under 6 by donation. Chocolate chip, blueberry or buttermilk pancakes, bacon, eggs, juice milk and coffee will be available. There will also be raffled prizes and a bake sale. All proceeds will benefit Meals on Wheels. For information call (406) 222-7195.

 

The Bark in the Park fundraiser for Stafford Animal Shelter will be held on Sunday, Aug. 25. A 5K fun run starts at the band shell in Miles Park at 10 a.m. Dog contests, including pool competitions, field events and a dress-up contest will be held at the band shell and city pool from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

The Park County Special Education Cooperative Board of Directors will hold a board meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26 in the Special Services office at Arrowhead School. For more information call 222-6600.

 

Sage Lodge will celebrate National Dog Day 2-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, with a free, fun-filled day of treat stations, a doggie kissing booth, dog games and a photo booth for pictures at $1 each. All proceeds will benefit the Stafford Animal Shelter.

 

Yellow Bus Tours are held at 6:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday until Labor Day. The tours begin at the Livingston Depot Center and cost is $8.

• The Shane center will present, “Love and Friendship: A Celebration of Music and Friendship,” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, performed by Gabrielle Wunsch on the violin, Bobby Mitchell on the piano and Bruce Chrisp on the trombone. The program celebrates the deep friendship and personal relationships shared by four musicians — Clara and Robert Schumann, Brahms, and renowned violinist Joachim. Tickets will be available for purchase at the box office of the Dulcie Theatre at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.
