The Livingston Gallery Association August Art Walk will be held 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. Enjoy strolling to the many art galleries for artist receptions and exhibit openings. Gallery Association maps will be available at each gallery. Art Walks are held the fourth Friday of each month through September. • Park County Senior Citizens Center will host an End of Summer Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Senior Center. All breakfasts are $5, with children under 6 by donation. Chocolate chip, blueberry or buttermilk pancakes, as well as bacon, eggs, juice milk and coffee will be included. The public is welcome. The center is located at 206 S Main St. in Livingston. The sixth annual Livingston Trails RX 5K Run takes place at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Livingston HealthCare.Register at www.LivingstonTrailsRX.com. Proceeds go to trail development in Livingston. Child care will be provided.

 

The Shane Lalani Center Spotlight Gala will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 in the Shane Center parking lot. The Gala will feature special music and entertainment, food and an open beer and wine bar, and announce the upcoming 2019-20 community theatre season. Jane Austin’s “Pride and Predjudice” opens Friday, Aug. 16 at the Blue Slipper Theatre and continues through Sunday, Sept. 1. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 3 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for college students and senior citizens, and $10 for youth, and are available online at www.blueslipper.org, or by calling 222-7720.
