The Livingston Classic Professional Bull Riders event will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Park County Fairgrounds. For tickets, visit www.livingstonclassicpbr.com.

 

Shields River Lutheran Church will celebrate its 100th anniversary at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, at the church, with lunch at noon (no charge), followed by a program at 1 p.m., entertainment and more.

 

The Livingston Hoot will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8, starting at 4 p.m. The free, family friendly event on Main Street will feature a giant stage. The Western Flyers will open at 6 p.m. and Texas boogie queen Marcia Ball with special guest blues singer Tracy Nelson will take the stage at 8 p.m. Food and drinks will be available in the second block of Main Street, along with restaurants, street food, and local vendors. The kids’ area will feature inflatables and games of skill on Lewis Street.

 

Stafford Animal Shelter is in need of foster families for young kittens. Instruction is available to learn to administer medication, bottle feed and give fluids, etc. Contact Alicia at adavis@staffordanimalshelter for details.

 

The Fly Fishers International Museum is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Fridays. The museum preserves the history of the sport through artifacts that have been collected over the years and are on display at the museum such as a prototype of the first fiberglass fishing rod ever made, historic wallets, creels, reels, rods and unique fly plates.
