• ASPEN (Abuse Support Prevention Education Network) Live Well 49 and the Park County Health Department are hosting a Lunch and Learn at noon on Wednesday, March 20 at the Food Resource Center. The topic will be QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) skills. These three simple steps can help save a life from suicide. The event is free, and lunch is provided with registration. The Park County branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will hold its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 at The Mint Bar and Grill. The guest speaker will be Rachel Anderson from Markouture, who will speak on “Building Community through Entrepreneurship.” AAUW welcomes current members as well as others in the community interested in attending. Washington School will have a kindergarten Registration Roundup open house from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 at the school. Come with a copy of a certified birth certificate and immunizations to register your child for the 2019-2020 kindergarten. To be eligible, your child must be 5 years old before Sept. 10.

Specialized volunteer positions are available at the Livingston Food Resource Center. Office assistants, administrative assistants and senior dinner coordinator/assistants are some of the volunteer opportunities. Kitchen and Food Pantry volunteers positions are available as well.
