The Livingston Center for Art and Culture is hosting another summer camp, themed “The Art of Dr. Seuss.” The camp will be held Aug. 6 through 9, and is for 5- to 8-year-olds. Call 222-5222 for details, or signup online at www.livingstoncenter.org.

• The Montana Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and Livingston photographer and filmmaker Erik Peterson will host a “Public Lands Film Night” on Thursday, Aug. 9 in the Dulcie Theater at the Shane Lalani Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the screening begins at 7 p.m.

The Park County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9 at the Park County Senior Center, 206 S. Main St. Lois Olmstead will speak on “Life on the Shields.” For more information, call Secretary Beverly George at 222-2284.

The Montana Veterans Affairs Division is doing a community outreach in Livingston from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at American Legion 23, 112 N. B St., the second Wednesday of each month this summer. The next outreach day will be Aug. 8.

The Big Timber Carnegie Public Library will host a mountain dulcimer workshop on Friday, Aug. 10 and Saturday, Aug. 11. Admission costs $45.
