Child safety seats are inspected at no charge the third Friday of each month at Livingston Fire and Rescue, located in the City-County Complex, 414 E. Callender St. The seats are inspected by certified child passenger safety technicians. Free installation is available. The Sons and Daughters of the Gallatin County Pioneers invite all eligible Sons and Daughters of Park County pioneers to attend their annual banquet and meeting at noon, Saturday Feb. 18 at the Holiday Inn in Bozeman. To be eligible, your pioneer must have arrived in your county on or before 1868. Proof of lineage is required. This years’ meeting will feature the history of the Alexander Weaver family, “Montana through the Mail,” by Ken Hamlin; and music by Alice Hanks, Dennis Downing and Phil Schladweiler. Preregistration for the luncheon is required.

 

Montana Women For will sponsor an information fair called Livingston Unite! Progressive Festival and Potluck from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts. The public is welcome to meet with the organizations working on progressive issues, and to learn about getting involved and what is coming up. • Bowl for Kid’s Sake is taking place this year at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 4 at Treasure Lanes. The theme is disco. Sign up today to be a team captain, join a team, be a business sponsor, be a prize donor or make a pledge. Proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Park and Sweet Grass Counties.
