Bridger Bowl announced Wednesday it intends to open during the 2020-2021 ski season, and season passes are now on sale. The ski area ended its 2019-2020 season early, on March 15, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“None of us have that elusive crystal ball that can see what this fall will bring,” general manager Bob Petitt wrote in a press release. “With MSU returning to campus and increasing infection rates within the region and the state, Bridger Bowl continues to actively plan for the season.”

This is the earliest Bridger Bowl has put their season pass offerings on sale in its history, according to the press release.

The ski area is offering an interest-free payment plan for its season passes. According to the release, credits and/or refunds could be on the table if further restrictions are put in place during ski season because of the virus. Season passes can be refunded by Nov. 20.

“Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that skiing and riding will be anywhere near normal,” Petitt wrote. “At this time, we do not know what restrictions will be in place, but restrictions on guest use in the buildings, within our programs, and even on the hill to some degree are to be expected.”
