Alona Celeste Bauer

Alona Celeste Bauer, 28 of Billings and formerly Livingston, died unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at her home in Billings. A celebration of her life will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23 at the Livingston Elks Lodge. A potluck will be shared in the basement, along with children’s activities if people wish to contribute. (Please be sure to label any dishes so they may be returned and proper thanks given.)

Alona was born on Oct. 15, 1987 to Debra Rickett and John “JD” Bauer. She was kind of heart and very strong of will. She attended school in Livingston where she excelled as a softball player consistently making the All Star Team and participated in weight lifting as a power lifter.  She was tiny and full of might! She was blessed with children at a young age. Her two children brought the best out of her; she took every step to be a positive role model and provide the best for them. She earned her G.E.D. and was studying to complete her accounting degree. She always protected her family, could be tough yet compassionate and would stand her ground no matter the size of her foe.

Alona has lived in Billings for the past nine years. Most of that time she worked at Wells Fargo, where she was recently promoted to Research/Remediation Associate. The Resolution team is missing a key member with her loss.  Her attention to detail, great wealth of knowledge and infectious smile will be irreplaceable.

Alona will be forever missed, and is survived by: her children, Adrian and Aleah, and their father, Andrew Romero, of Billings. Her parents, Debra Rickett of Billings and John “JD” Bauer (Cindy Evans) of Livingston. Grandparents, Pat Miller, Jack Bauer (Margaret) of Livingston. Sister, Amber Williams (Gabe) and Brother, Andrew Bauer (Meghaan). Nieces and nephews, Amora, Alec, Adam and Hazel all of Livingston, and of course the many friends and family-of-choice that hold her in their heart.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Alan Bauer; sister-in-law, Barbara Romero; sister-in-law- Andalusia Reed; aunt, Kathy Nead; grandfather, Cliff Miller, brother-in-Law, Joey Romero; cousin, Elecia Nead; and grandmother, Lodine Moffett.

A trust for her two children is being established for their future.  Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be shared at
