Park County added 19 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Tuesday, according to the state of Montana, which is the county’s highest daily increase so far during the pandemic.

Park County now has 143 active COVID-19 cases, the state reports, and has recorded 350 cases total.

There have not been any reported deaths attributed to COVID-19, according to the state.

Montana overall reported 1,101 new cases Tuesday, also a record increase during the pandemic. There are 16,816 confirmed active COVID-19 cases in Montana, the state reports, and there have been 41,151 total confirmed cases.

The state said in an email Tuesday a system update caused some new cases over the weekend to be reported late, so Tuesday’s virus numbers were higher and Monday’s were lower.

As of Monday, there was no evidence of community spread in Park County, according to the state.
