To borrow a phrase from the late, great Harry Carey, “Holy Cow!” On Monday afternoon at the Livingston baseball complex, the Park High Lady Rangers defeated the Manhattan Lady Tigers with a stunning, stirring and improbable comeback when senior Taylor Young smacked a hard bouncer past the Tigers shortstop scoring Kaylee Roberts from third to lead the Rangers to an emotional 18-17 win. In what was certainly the Rangers signature win of the season thus far, they may have also discovered the key ingredient the team seemed to be missing. Trust. Trust in their abilities and trust between teammates. The game itself will be talked about for years to come- it was that incredible.
