As I wrote last week, October is when I wear a pink ribbon as a member of the BC club. My battle with the disease was in 1992. I sure learned lots of stuff.
Average-people-stuff is different from medical stuff. Medical stuff is information from your doctor that is technical and medical. Average-people-stuff is, well, average stuff. Like do you get to keep your clothes on, or do you have to wear the paper gown when you are radiated? Like do I tie it in front or back? I asked if I could wear earphones during radiation. Nope. “Lois, you’d fry your cassette tapes!”
