BRIEFS
• Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will hold a public meeting in Livingston at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Park County Fairgrounds to provide information and answers questions concerning the Yellowstone River closure and fish kill. FWP closed the Yellowstone and its tributaries from north of Gardiner to near Laurel on Aug. 19 after tests revealed a mountain whitefish die-off was caused by a parasite. The disease can also affect some species of trout. The meeting is open to all. For more information, call the FWP Region 3 headquarters in Bozeman at 994-3285.
