Do you need newspapers, advertising inserts, tabloids or booklets printed? The Enterprise production department is fully equipped to handle your job.

Our press prints far more than The Enterprise. It also prints many other publications, including daily, weekly and monthly newspapers, as well as other journals. Full-color printing is done on a nine-unit Goss Community Press with heavy-duty folder and quarter folder. The press is a "4-high," which provides excellent color registration.

Let us walk you through what we can do for you:

Prepress:
At the pre-press station, our composition and graphics experts can design and lay out your publication on our Macintosh computers.

We also provide high quality black and white and full-color scanning. If you have done the layout yourself, bring your job in on a CD for transfer to our machines. Or, you can upload your job to our FTP site.

Software:
The computers -- which are equipped with QuarkXPress, InDesign, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand and Acrobat -- send the documents to our imagesetter that produces composites or color separations on film.

Camera work/stripping:
If your job is not in electronic form, no problem. Bring in the pasted-up pages and we'll do the camera work to produce the negatives. Should you need photos enlarged or reduced on our scanners, we can do that, too. Next, our stripping department will process your negatives and burn the plates.

On the press:
At the press, our equipment can print 30 lb. to 50 lb. paper of these sizes:

• Standard newspaper...........12.5" x 22.5"
  Tabloids (short and long).....11.25" x 12.5" & 10" x 16"
• Books(flexies)................8" x 10.75" trim size and smaller

Post-press:
Once your job is printed, we can prepare it for shipment in a number of ways. Our Muller Martini stitcher/trimmer (two pockets plus cover) can take care of book binding, if needed.

Next, we can label, strap, string or box your publication, or sort and bag it, and mail it, deliver it or have delivery arranged!
